We are the exclusive advisors of the Chambers Plan for the Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody areas of Greater Vancouver! Whether you are a sole proprietor, incorporated, partnership, home-based business, or part of a larger firm, group benefits are a very important part of your financial security.
The Chambers Plan allows small and midsize companies to provide their employees with comprehensive group benefits packages specifically designed for the needs of each company. The Chambers Plan is recognized as Canada’s #1 employee benefits plan for small businesses! This employee benefits plan is best suited for businesses with less than 50 employees, and is easy to set up, flexible, and affordable!
Here are some more reasons why this group benefits plan may be right for you:
There is no required minimum number of employees. Full benefits are available to a “group” of one.
The plan is run on a non-profit basis. There is no parent company making a profit at your expense. Premiums are set to cover the cost of the plan’s benefits and administration.
All firms can apply for coverage, regardless of employees’ occupations.
Life and Disability coverages are fully pooled. This protects the small business against large premium increases because of claims. No one firm can be targeted for a rate increase as all participating firms must have their rates adjusted to reflect pooled experience.
In firms with 3 or more employees, each individual is guaranteed basic levels of coverage.
You have unlimited use of the plan’s toll-free service line. You or your employees can follow up on benefit or claim questions and receive prompt help.
Easy-to-use forms and 48-hour claim processing.
You support your local Chamber of Commerce and local businesses by participating in this employee benefits plan.
Various benefits and options are available including Extended Healthcare Benefits, Critical Illness, Dental, Life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment and more.

Meet the Cost Plus Program
Under the Chambers Plan, you could also opt into the Cost Plus Program which allows you to pay extended health and dental costs with corporate dollars on a pay-as-you-go basis. This is available for expenses not covered under the basic extended health or dental plan. Cost Plus is NOT a reimbursement program like the traditional core health and dental benefits and is treated as a fully deductible company paid expense.
Some key features of the Cost Plus Program:
The Cost Plus benefit is NOT a taxable employee benefit.
Cost Plus covers 100% of eligible expenses.
Cost Plus requires no regular premium commitment and simply has a small administration fee at time of use.
Expenses paid under the Cost Plus program are treated as “premiums” for extended health and dental benefits and can be deducted at 100% by the business.
